It seems that we can expect the 2019 Buick Regal to roll out soon with more than a few changes and naturally, once we heard the news, we started prepping the review based on all the information we could collate from reputable sources. It was expected that Buick would introduce a new trim last year but it’s going to happen now with Buick Regal with the exclusive Avenir trim. It seems that we do not have to wait for long, and are itching to test the car out, but before that, let’s take a closer look at this car, shall we?
2019 Buick Regal Overview:
With most of the details being kept under wraps, it seems that the 2019 Buick Regal will indeed be sporting a slightly different look with European tones, such as the restyled hood and roof. But this was expected given what the completion has been dishing out of late. Naturally, Buick would want to keep their design fresh and has opted to give the 2nd generation Buick Regal a mini makeover of sorts along with the introduction of a new trim. This model comes as a hatchback or a wagon and one that has certainly proved to be popular in the past.
Exterior, under the hood:
The 2019 Buick Regal comes with more than a few styling changes including the fact that it now sports on a new fastback body shape, as well as that of a wagon and both, are targeted to be roomy enough to cater to the whole family. Of course, the Buick Regal cannot compete with some of the SUVs doing the rounds, given the interior space they come with but the Regal still does a good job of going head to head with them. The Avenir trim in the regal lineup, which is being branded as a luxury trim comes with unique 19-inch wheel designs and if that, was not enough, it also comes with all-wheel drive as well as a sporty body that makes this model stand out for all the right reasons.
The Buick Regal has certainly given its design a reboot in a sense that they have managed to keep their design fresh. The new model comes with the same front fascia but with more chrome accents to the grille, less contouring on the side panels and the LED headlights are restyled with cornering, and the rear end gets the same treatment. The other trims come with 18-inch wheels but the Avenir and the top trims come with larger ones, thereby giving the car a slight muscular look.
The 2019 Buick Regal comes with a slightly revamped interior; as the new model is slightly taller and comes with a slightly larger wheelbase especially for the Avenir model, it comes with more headroom, leg room, and extra cargo space – all of which were needed and we are more than happy to see that the automaker has taken some of the reviews to heart and has decided to correct the flaws in last year’s model. The dashboard is neat, uncluttered with the instrument cluster at one end and a 7 or 8-inch infotainment panel, with plush upholstery and seats, completes the look.
