It seems that the all-new 2019 Ford F-250 Super duty heavy pickup truck will be around a lot earlier than expected and we are just pleased to hear the news right off the local grapevine. Naturally, as with everything else, we started prepping our review right away and went scavenging for any information that we could find out about this model.
The neat thing is that apart from its functionality, it is a fun truck to drive in it with the family and it seems that the new model may well come with more than a few styling changes. So let’s get down to the meat and bones and take a closer look at the F 250, shall we?
2019 Ford F-250, an overview:
The 2019 Ford F-250 is slated to arrive with a few styling changes and seeing that it is the second year since its major makeover, we really were not expecting much to change this time around but it seems that we were, pleasantly proved wrong as we poured over the leaked images. The truck looks as good as it is going to get with more than a few subtle changes starting with less curb weight, but more on that later.
2019 Ford F-250, under the hood:
The 2019 Ford F-250 has managed to outgun its competition by opting for an all aluminium body so as to reduce its curb weight while maintaining its towing and payload capabilities. It does this smartly; the current model comes with three cab configurations (regular, super and crew).
The new model of F-250 also comes with six trims – XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and the Limited along with hill assist driver’s feature along with traction control and electronic stability control which should come handy. The new model also comes with more steel to its frame, adding strength to its body along with an enhanced grille with the ford logo right in the middle of it, jutting out and thereby lending the truck a little aggressiveness.
It also comes with C shape LED headlights along with cornering, as well as a tweaked front bumper. The side panels contour well around the bodyline of the truck and it also seems to feature a slightly larger wheelbase this time around. The rear end meets the same treatment as the front and comes with LED taillights and the effect of the whole ensemble is outstanding.
2019 Ford F-250 Interior:
The 2019 Ford F-250 interior comes with a tad more comfort and luxury this time around; granted that most of these trucks are mostly used for work but there’s no reason why they should not be comfortable as well. This model comes with vinyl trim on the higher models as well as plush and comfortable leather seats with a nice dashboard, with the instrument cluster in the centre as well as infotainment touchscreen panel as well.
The top trims come with additional add-on features as well; but overall, the current model seems to be a lot more comfortable than the current outgoing model.
2019 Ford F-250 Engine, Release Date, and Price
