2019 Ford F150 Review – Interior, Exterior, Engine, Release Date, and Price

With most European automakers phasing out diesel engines, it seems that the US and especially trucks and tugboats are the last stand for diesel engines. With the news of the imminent release of 2019 Ford F150, we decided to collate all the information we could on the next avatar of Ford’s cash cow and managed to prep the review with the leaked images, interviews and of course, the rumors after vetting the lot. What we can confirm is that the F 150 will include diesel engine and apart from that, it is also getting a makeover of sorts.  So let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?

It seems that a new generation of the 2019 Ford F150 is all set to roll out soon and just in the nick of time as some of Ford’s competitors have already launched their full-size pickup trucks, recently. The new model comes with more than a raft of changes on the exterior as well as the interior but from what we could make out from the pictures, it seems that the basic design would be more or less the same with a few modifications.

Exterior, under the hood:

The 2019 Ford F150 comes with a brand new grille along with a redesigned bumper and tuned upfront fascia and in the process, giving the pickup a slightly aggressive look. The sharp corners are rounded off, giving it a sleeker look than its earlier variant. It also comes with an enhanced suspension along with four-wheel drive which should make it perfect for most terrains under any weather.

The wheelbase is slightly larger and so are the wheels thereby giving the F150 a slightly muscular look, the larger wheels should provide you with better traction on the road. It comes with multiple options for trailer bed and tailgate and these come part of the trim. So you may want to check out the other trim options vis-à-vis trailer bed and tailgate.

And the truck comes with better clearance than the last outgoing model so that’s another plus with this full-size pickup truck. The only con that we could work out is that its towing capacity still seems to be the same so we do hope that Ford gives this a boost up with the next generation of F150s.

The 2019 Ford F150 just got a lot more comfortable with more creature comforts than the outgoing model; for starters, you can look forward to plush leather upholstery and a curvy dashboard that just looks good. And located right on the dash, front and center is a large touchscreen infotainment panel (which is optional by the way), along with just about everything else that you can think of including WiFi, Blue tooth, USB ports, high-end Bang & Olufsen audio system, air conditioning and much more. It also comes with advanced safety features as well as adaptive cruise control, stops and go functionality as well as anti-collision features.

Engine Detail, launch date, price:

The 2019 Ford F150 comes with all-new base 3.3-liter V-6 as well as two other engines with the V-8 providing it with more horsepower and torque. It also comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and the powertrain gives this truck all the power it needs. The model is all set to be launched by late 2018. It is expected that the pricing for the all the trims would vary but the rate for the base trim is pegged at $62855 only.
