Well, with more emphasis being placed on SUVs, it is no wonder that we get to see a brand new one doing the rounds each year and it seems that we may be acquainted with the 4th generation 2019 GMC Yukon sooner than expected. Naturally, the moment we got the news, we started digging around and truth be told, we were not expecting any radical changes as the makeover is scheduled for next year. But with that being said, the new model with the same old design with more than a few tweaks did impress us enough which is why we should take a closer look at the new model.
The 2019 GMC Yukon certainly manages to attract due attention with its chiseled look and the news that GMC would be offering graphite edition, as well as graphite performance edition with the SLT trim, just got our collective mouths watering. It seems that the new model will be offered in base SLE and Denali trim and it should be pointed out that each trim comes with its own individual features; for example, while the new model comes with regular wheels, the Denali trim comes with 22 inch wheels with a wider wheelbase along with wider wheels as well which should provide you with more traction on the road.
Exterior, under the hood:
The 2019 GMC Yukon comes with a few changes to the exterior such as cleaner and curvier lines than its predecessor. It still comes with a boxy look but with the curves, swept-back headlights and a prominent grille along with LED cornering and sweeping lines and an elegant rear end, the new model certainly stands out for all the right reasons. The 2019 GMC Yukon Denali trim comes with chrome work on the exterior which certainly makes it all the more popular; it certainly adds a touch of class and style to the car itself.
The Yukon is also offered in an extended version (XL) which comes with more space on the interior along with a few more features. And it is slightly larger however you can always opt for the other trims. Ever since it’s 2015 redesign, GMC has been adding a few alterations to the overall design to keep it fresh until the next scheduled makeover and we are pleased to report that they have managed to do just that with the new model as well.
The 2019 GMC Yukon comes with a nearly revamped interior; apart from leather upholstery for the premium trims, it comes with an asymmetrical dashboard that gives the interior a nice, classy appearance with the instrument cluster within easy reach. The dash also features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment panel along with premium audio system as well. It should be pointed out that the higher trims come with faux wood accents as well as different shades of leather. It also comes with an optimal four-wheel drive system as well as advanced safety features coupled with the enhanced suspension which should make or a sweet ride.
