2019 Honda CR-V Review – Interior, Exterior, Engine, Release Date, and Price

It seems that the 2019 Honda CR-V may be launched sooner than expected with minimal updates and with just a few tweaks which we think is just a ploy to keep the design fresh as it heads for a makeover come 2020. What makes this crossover SUV remarkable is that it is almost perfect except in one aspect, its power.

This is not to imply that the current outgoing model is slow or anything but we just think that they could have outfitted the earlier model with a more powerful drive train than the one it had got. Either way, the launch is almost due and it’s high time that we took a closer look at this car and all its main features.

2019 Honda CR-V  Overview:

The 2019 Honda CR-V certainly looks every bit as elegant as we can make out in the leaked Images and we can tell you right away that the overall design is the same. That said, no one expected much by way of radical changes with the current design and there is no reason as to why the automaker would want to revamp it all up when it’s heading for a complete makeover come 2020. It is expected that the new model will return back with the same trims as before, such as LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring trims. And if some of the rumors doing the rounds are true, then it seems that we may get a new sporting trim this year and that’s something to look forward to.

Exterior, under the hood:

The 2019 Honda CR-V is roomy and well-built as it is going to get any more; moreover, the car design is nearly perfect with curvier lines, making it all the more attractive. The one commonly heard a critique about CR Vis that it came with a dowdy exterior and we certainly hope that changes with the makeover session slated for next year.

But other than that, it comes with a slightly tweaked chrome grille on the front which seats just above the front bumper along with a nice chrome line that sweeps along to the rearmost roof pillar. The new model comes with a chrome saber along with the taillights which improve the whole look, at least when viewed from the back. But the good news is that other than the basic trim, the advanced trim comes with 18-inch metal alloy wheel with the requisite trims along with tinted windows which should provide it with a classier look.

The 2019 Honda CR-V comes with a slightly revamped interior; the controls sit within easy reach and it comes with plush upholstery, with the advanced trims featuring faux wood paneling which makes for a nice touch. It also features an enhanced suspension which makes riding in this car a comfortable experience.

It also comes with 12-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat along with 5-inch touch screen infotainment panel, LED daytime running lights, Blue tooth, USB ports, rearview camera and its leather-trimmed upholstery makes it quite comfy in the interior.

Engine Detail, launch date, Prices:

The 2019 Honda CR-V comes loaded with some of the modern gadgets and when the new model gets launched next year, we fully expect all the trims or most of them to feature advanced features. The new model comes with 184-hp 2.4-liter I-4 found in the base LX model and a 190-hp 1.5-liter turbo-four that powers the other trims. You can expect the new model to be launched by fall this year and the price for the same is tagged at $37500 for the advanced trims.
