2019 Honda Odyssey Review – Interior, Exterior, Engine, Release Date, and Price

With the news of the 2019 Honda Odyssey and its imminent release making waves already, we decided that it was time to post a review on this iconic minivan which has been popular all through the years. And to answer your question, we did check and it seems that there would be nary a change from last year’s model except for a few tweaks here and there. But this minivan is one of those classier vehicles that has managed to offer so much more than its competitors which had made it all the more popular all through these years. So, let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?

Overview:

The 2019 Honda Odyssey has been primarily designed for the family and with the fact that it comes with three rows of seats should make this readily apparent to all. While it was a bit of a letdown that the new model will not be undergoing much change this year, we can at least console ourselves with the fact that the last model was good enough for last year especially with the way that they managed to tuck the back door slide right behind the black trim, thereby making the design smooth and better looking; and  we can always look forward to more changes come next year.

Exterior, under the hood:

The 2019 Honda Odyssey comes with mild tweaks to the grille and front bumper; from what we could make out from the leaked images it seems that the new model will feature an enhanced grille on the front with chrome accents along with enhanced suspension which should help make the ride smooth. It also comes with LED headlights, LED running lights and chrome accents from front end to the rear, making it stand out from the rest.

The new model also comes with active grille shutters which should help make it all the more aerodynamic and thereby enable it to perform better. The wheelbase remains the same but the side panels have gotten a lot glossier and appear sleeker. The overall look for the new model is just perfect as it is and it is expected that it would also feature fog lights for the more advanced trims. Even though this year’s release is going to be the same as last year with a few changes, the car still looks quite good on the exterior.

Interior:

The 2019 Honda Odyssey comes with the same interior, but with a few more gadgets being added to provide you with more comfort. The new model comes with plush leather heated and cooled seats, along with power steering, heated steering wheels and a dash that looks as uncluttered as ever before. The cluster for the instrument panel is within easy reach and the car also comes with a large touchscreen infotainment panel.

What makes this model stand out is that the seats are reconfigurable, with both the second and third-row seats. Essentially, with this car, you can reconfigure the car for more space and storage space and that makes it all the more invaluable.

Engine Detail, launch date, Prices:

The 2019 Honda Odyssey comes with V6 3.5 Liter engine which gives it the much-needed boost that it requires in terms of power. Additionally, it is paired superbly with the 10-speed automatic transmission which should help make for a smooth ride. It is expected that the new model will be launched anytime now and should be available in most auto dealerships in the next few weeks. The pricing for the new model should range from $30300 to $46970.
