It seems that with the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder we can indeed expect something new; at the least, from it recent camouflaged appearance at a recent show; it still manages to retain the similar shape as the other models.
Keep in mind that this is the 4th generation and given that, we do think that Nissan would go for a complete makeover or if not, at least provide the new car with a bold front fascia and a rebooted engine. Knowing Nissan, most of the details are kept under wraps and even the rumours doing the rounds are sparse but we have managed to collate most of the information to put together a review. So let’s take a closer look at the car, shall we?
2019 Nissan Pathfinder Overview:
The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is rumoured to come with an enhanced suspension to the front and back along with the fact that it will be riding on a brand new platform. We can also expect the new model to feature strong engine in the form of V6 along with the same features as the last time around.
It should be pointed out that there’s still enough room for Nissan to spring a complete makeover on us but for the moment, it seems that the new model is likely to feature most of the features of the previous generation. As a middle-class SUV, this car targets a key demographic and for the moment, other than a powerful engine, has little of anything new to offer at the moment.
Exterior, under the hood:
The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder comes with a powerful V6 engine along with the fact that it is rumoured to be packaged as a three-row crossover SUV. Yes, you heard it right; the new model will feature three rows for the passengers and with two doors.
It seems that the new model will also get a bolder fascia in the front with a much better engine along with a few interesting curves to the wide which should give it a whole new sporty look.
It seems that both the front and the rear end are going to be restyled with a restyled bumper along with grille. It also comes with standard 18-inch alloy wheels but the platinum trim should come with 20-inch wheels. It also comes with a new set of LED headlights along with fog lights and other features which would be available with the higher trims.
The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder comes with a spacious, and retro-fitted and yet mode cabin, it almost seems as if this model is a throwback to the earlier generations in some aspects. It comes with plush seats and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment panel as well as a 4-inch information display panel.
This car is certainly shaping out to be the perfect family car and it certainly seems to be designed that way. The higher trims come with keyless entry along with enhanced safety features such as drive assist, navigation, automatic braking and a rear seat alert system along with other safety features as well.
