You can call it what you want but the 2019 Mercedes Benz E Class Cabriolet always manages to come off as somewhat hedonistic and Mercedes Benz proved that to the point last year when they first introduced the Mercedes Benz E Class Cabriolet at a Detroit auto show. Since then, the model in question has been performing remarkably well enough, and now, it’s time to roll out the next version. Even though the last year’s model did not get the same treatment as its counterparts in the same lineup, we do hope that the new model does come with a better engine and works. Let’s take a look under the hood, shall we?
When it comes to luxury premium cars, the 2019 Mercedes Benz E Class Cabriolet often hogs the spotlight for all the right reasons; it is a premium brand and naturally, one expects all the Mercedes Benz cars to come outfitted with the very latest in terms of comfort and luxury.
Well, the automaker, to its credit has outdone itself repeatedly and managed to outfit their cars with outstanding features and the E class Cabriolet was no exception. Of course, it is a convertible and as such, the space at the back is going to be a little limited but it is one car that’s fun to drive around in, at all times.
The 2019 Mercedes Benz E Class Cabriolet comes with the same AMG package as its siblings in the lineup; it comes with a twin blade radiator grille in silver chrome in the front with that unique look that makes it stand out from the rest. Apart from this, it also comes with a black lattice pattern behind the blades, instead of the mesh that we saw last year.
Most of our review is based on the leaked images of the car online and from what we can make out, after pouring over these images for several hours is that the new Cabriolet comes with an A wing design along with a slightly tweaked front bumper as well as the outer air intakes sporting two silver chrome fins.
The overall look is fantastic and with not much change to the side or the undercarriage, it is as good as it can get, sans a few tweaks or changes. The overall design is sporty but Cabriolet manages to pull it off with aplomb and style.
The 2019 Mercedes Benz E Class Cabriolet comes with trim options that range from carbon black to matte silver inserts which complements the body and the rest of the interior.
It comes with various upscale elements including two 12.3 inch displays, leather sports seats with multiple adjustable positions along with power steering wheel. The neat thing about the upcoming model is that it seems that the steering wheel can also be covered with the same inserts as the rest of the trim.
You also get a better choice with upholstery this time around from black leather, saddle brown, classic red, titan red and much more. It also comes with state of the art soft top along with the required padding and insulation to cut back on the wind and road noise. You should be able to open and close the top in under 20 seconds with the push of a button, it’s that easy.
